Anger is above all a learned response, nobody is born angry. Anger issues have their roots in childhood and what is certain is that we somehow learned that anger was the only way to deal issues.
The majority of angry people were brought up in obviously and outwardly angry households and as children witnessed episodes of uncontrolled anger from parents and older siblings. Occasionally anger in childhood occurs as a result of being punished but not being allowed to be angry or to cry about it.
Wherever the problem began it became an habitual response to certain situations. We humans are habitual creatures and once a habit has been established it will carry on running forever unless and until something is done to change it and override it and that is possible.

Anger destroys relationships, it’s not pretty and the majority of angry people feel ashamed of their uncontrolled outbursts once the anger has cooled.
But no matter where and how you learned to use anger as a way to get your needs met or to hurt others as much as you believe you’ve been hurt you can change the way you do things as soon as you are willing to do something about it.
