How to Relax in 6 secs

The Quieting Reflex was developed by Charles Stroebel, M.D. It only takes six seconds and can help you relax very quickly. Practice this dozens of times a day.

Close your eyes. Smile inwardly with your mouth and eyes. Then say to yourself: Alert Mind, Calm Body. Now take a deep easy breath all the way down to your abdomen. As you exhale, let your jaw, tongue, and shoulders go limp while you feel a wave of warmth and heaviness flowing all the way down your body, from your head to your toes.

Open your eyes.

And repeat ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
