EFT helps with crying baby!

EFT can help both you and your baby to settle and get much needed rest.

 

The tapping is done entirely on you the parent as the baby is actually picking up it’s distress from its parents.  If you feel stressed every evening about whether or not your baby will settle you are actually transferring your stress onto your child who is then acting accordingly.)

The more stress you feel the more baby cries and so the vicious circle goes on.  Yet if you and your partner let go of your stress baby will sleep as if by magic and the whole circle of events comes to a close, opening up a new chapter in your child’s development.

A child who doesn’t sleep at night is developing a pattern which could go on for many years if not interrupted and EFT is the perfect easy, painless and drug-free way to do that.

First of all rate, on a scale of 0 to 10 how stressful baby’s crying is making you feel and make a note of it.  Then…………..

Set-up Statement

**Even though my baby is crying and I’m totally stressed,  I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I deeply and completely love him/her.

Repeat three times while tapping on the Karate Chop point

Negative reminder phrase:…………..baby crying stress.”

Now starting at the eyebrow point repeat negative reminder phrase at each point while tapping:

EB…. baby crying stress.”

SE……baby crying stress.”

UE……baby crying stress.”

UN……baby crying stress.”

UL……baby crying stress.”

CB……baby crying stress.”

UA…..baby crying stress.”

 

TH…….baby crying stress.”

Now take another rating and rate your level of stress right now.

Note:  If there is no difference in the rating or it’s gone up you may need to do the tapping at a time while baby isn’t crying when you can just imagine how much stress the crying makes you feel.

After getting the rating down a little go on to another round of:

**Even though my baby is  still crying and I still have some stress,  I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I deeply and completely love him/her.

As before repeat three times while tapping on the Karate Chop point

Now starting at the eyebrow point repeat negative reminder phrase at each pint while tapping:

EB…. This remaining stress”

SE……This remaining stress”

UE……This remaining stress”

UN……This remaining stress”

UL……This remaining stress”

CB……This remaining stress”

UA…..This remaining stress”

TH…….This remaining stress”

Now take another rating and see how much less stressed you feel.

Here are some more set-up statements to use with your baby or child:

**Even though my baby won’t settle, I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I deeply and completely love him/her

**Even though she/he is driving me mad, I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I deeply and completely love him/her

**Even though my baby won’t eat his/her food, I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I deeply and completely love him/her

**Even though you (Baby) are being naughty, I deeply and completely love us both,

**Even though Emma won’t sit in her pushchair, I deeply love both of us.

**Even though junior won’t share his toys with the other children, I still love him and me.

**Even though Ruby has earache, I love the both of us.

*Even though Sam is always in trouble at school I love him, me and his teacher

**Even though I have this headache, I deeply and completely accept myself.

 

This is only a partial list, of course, because the possible issues that are addressable by EFT are endless.  Please note that you can change the affirmations.

Now here are some interesting points about the affirmation…**It doesn’t matter whether you believe the affirmation or not….just say it.  **It is better to say it with feeling and emphasis but saying it routinely will usually do the job.  **It is best to say it out loud but if you are in a social situation where you prefer to mutter it under your breath….or do it silently….then go ahead. It will probably be effective.
