<p>Have you ever wondered how to manifest your desires?  Is there something you desire that you haven’t already got? If so, it sits in the unexpressed realm waiting to be drawn into expression. The thing you desire may not have been invented yet and if so, your desire for it may bring it into the mind of an inventor who can produce it and bring it to the world. However, if the thing you desire has been or is being expressed by anyone else and most of our desires are being expressed by peoples everywhere then to experience it yourself you must find a way to draw it into expression.</p>
<p>You draw things into expression by the process of aspiration and inspiration. Aspiration is something you do; an activity of mind and without it nothing changes. Whatever you give your attention to increases in your life and if you focus on the things you have already created; the overweight body, the shortage of money, the problematic relationships or the lack of success you’ll get more of it.</p>
<p>To effect change you have to aspire to something different. It’s no good fighting what has already been created; that’s focussing on the problem and doing so means the problem will get worse. It’s no good trying to ignore the problem; problems have perfected the art of popping into mind when they are least wanted and at the most inappropriate times.</p>
<p>If you don’t like what has already been created aspire to something different. You may aspire to be slim, solvent of happy. You may aspire to get a better job, a pay rise or a new car but without it you will get nothing of the sorts. To aspire to something means to desire it and to focus on it. Aspiration sounds a bit like respiration and when you aspire to something, each time you think about it and focus on it in imagination (the unexpressed realm) you breathe life into it.</p>
<p>Respiration means to draw air in and to breathe it out. Aspiration also sounds like inspiration and when you aspire you breathe out and spiral/vortex of energy into the unexpressed realms, otherwise known as ‘Heaven’ and then you receive back inspiration. Inspiration also spirals back down from ‘Heaven’ and ideas come to the aspirer; he who aspires.</p>
<h3>Here&#8217;s how to manifest your desires</h3>
<p>Choose the things you desire. Breathe life into them by giving them attention in the mental realms, (sometimes called the Kingdom of Heaven). Everything now seen comes from the unseen and began its life there. Feel how good you will feel when you have achieved the things you aspire to. Do it often; the more attention you give the things you aspire to the more life you breathe into them and the quicker they appear.</p>
<p>Ask solution based questions; &#8216;how can I do this,&#8217; &#8216;what&#8217;s the best thing to do right now,&#8217; &#8216;where can I find this information,&#8217;  and wait for inspiration. Inspiration comes from above. Inspiration spirals back down from above; leading you and guiding you to do the right things, to look in the right places or the find the right information.</p>

<p>Have you ever noticed how you react towards pain? When we feel pain we react in one of the following ways.</p>
<p>a. We ignore the pain, hoping it will go away<br />
b. We get angry at the pain telling it to go away, leave us alone or stop tormenting us<br />
c. We get depressed and blame it for making us feel down</p>
<p>None of this works but it doesn’t stop us from doing it. The last thing most of us would think of doing was to begin giving loving attention to the pain. However not only can this help to alleviate the pain it can often affect the actual healing of its underlying causes too.</p>
<p>The reason this method works is because pain of any kind is the body’s way of telling you there’s something wrong and what is wrong is usually down to a lack of love. The pain is there to tell us that somewhere we are self-talking ourselves into a situation that causes us pain. Our body is trying to message us and is telling us to stop and change things.</p>
<p>The pain behaves much like a screaming baby in that it insists we pay attention to it whether we want to or not. If we try to ignore it, it will usually just yell even louder for the attention it needs and wants. Getting angry with the pain or even down about it only makes the situation worse.</p>
<p>When confronted with a screaming baby we all know that ignoring the child doesn’t work and it doesn’t help to hit the child or scream back at it. If we can’t identify the child’s distress right away or we aren’t able to remove the cause we will intuitively seek to comfort the baby by giving it loving attention.</p>
<p>Not surprisingly, this often works and the infant’s creams will often fade away as it realizes that its call for help has been heard and that someone is there giving it loving attention. This same comforting, loving behaviour can be applied to any physical distress of our own that may be screaming for our attention.</p>
<p>Suppose for example that you are suffering from a severe headache and nothing you have done has helped it. You may decide to provide comforting and loving attention using EFT to the painful area.</p>
<h3>The Method of Using EFT to Accept Pain</h3>
<p>You could try this:</p>
<p>• “Even though my head is screaming for attention, I choose to let it know I love it pain or no pain.”</p>
<p>Babies, heads, stomachs and any part of the body or mind wants to know that it is loved no matter what. Loved with no strings attached and no demands made upon it to feel better or to go away and leave you alone.</p>
<p>Once it has your loving and totally accepting intention instead of your annoyance or anxious insistence that it go away or shut up, the pain, like the crying baby will start to calm down at having received your unconditional acceptance.</p>
<p>When confronted with pain or acute physical distress of any kind an excellent way to handle it is like this:</p>
<p>• “Even though I have this pain, I choose to give it my loving attention.”<br />
• “Even though I have this pain, I choose to hear its cry and give it love.”<br />
• “Even though I have this pain, I choose to recognize its cries for comfort and give that comfort with all my heart.”</p>
<p>The ways to formulate the statements are endless but the point is to understand the principle behind the statements. You will be changing the whole dynamic from un-acceptance and anger to acceptance and kindness.</p>
<p>Tap one round using the negative after each set-up phrase and one round using the new choice.</p>
<p>Try this next time either you or someone you know is in pain. It may be the best way you can help someone else to heal.<br />

<p>Pain relief is one of the most widely used benefits of EFT. Even though EFT doesn&#8217;t work in every single case of pain it works more often than not and many people have turned to EFT for pain relief to alleviate and manage their pain. Patricia Carrington in her book ‘Multiply the Power of EFT’ gives us this new way of working with pain.</p>
<p>I have tried this method with great success and recommend that you try it too. The method makes use of something called re-framing’ and involves changing your thoughts about a pain or discomfort from their present context and looking at it in an entirely new way. This involves speaking and thinking about the pain in a different way. (Using different words to describe it)</p>
<p>Patricia tells the following story to illustrate how this works. She encountered a man on a workshop some years ago who told her this story. Over 30 years previously at the age of 30 he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He was offered an experimental and highly risky operation which he decided to chance.</p>
<p>The man recalled lying in his hospital bed after his operation feeling down, frightened and abandoned as he listened to the comments of the medical personnel around him saying his situation was hopeless and that there was nothing they could do for him.</p>
<p>As the days passed in the hospital he developed a very disturbing symptom. Several times a day he would feel as if he had been struck by a bolt of lightning which would literally pin him to the bed. It was painful and terrifying and each time it happened he felt as if he was being struck a mortal blow.</p>
<p>Then one day something unusual occurred. A thought entered his head and told him to start to view these attacks in a different light. He immediately decided to re-label them in his mind as evidence of healing and from then on each time he had one he would thank his body for the healing that was happening. He would say to his body, “Thank you for healing me.”</p>
<p>Within a little while he actually started to look forward to the shocks as evidence of his healing. What is remarkable about this story is that he mysteriously started to heal and was eventually discharged from the hospital with an inexplicable case of remission. At the time of narrating the tale he had been free of any re-occurrence for over 30 years.</p>
<p>He did not have EFT of course to help him with this re-frame he did it using his mind alone.  With the advantage of EFT for pain relief imagine how much easier it can be. Here’s how to do it:</p>
<p>First identify the pain, discomfort or distress that you would like to get rid of and give it a name like, ‘this pain’ or ‘this distress’ or ‘this stiffness’ etc. Now write down a detailed description of the pain or stiffness and either articulate it or write it down. An example would be:</p>
<p>“This ache in the right hand side of my back behind my ribs.”…………..</p>
<p>Then add any other details or descriptions making it as detailed as possible.</p>
<p>When you start to tap on it you will simply refer to it as ‘this pain’ or ‘this distress.’ Your deeper mind will know what you mean by that statement.<br />
Next, take an intensity rating on the 0 to 10 scale and formulate a re-framing statement thus:</p>
<p>“Even though I have this pain (stiffness/ache), I choose to know it’s there to heal me.”</p>
<p>Or “Even though I have this pain (stiffness/ache), I choose to accept it as evidence of my healing.”</p>
<p>Or “Even though I have this dis-stress, I am grateful to the Universe for giving me this pain to bring about a breakthrough in my healing.”</p>
<p>Try not to figure out what the healing is or how it will manifest itself, simply say the statements and know and trust that something will happen, somehow.</p>
<p>Rejoice when the pain is present saying, “Oh good I’m being healed.”</p>
<p>After using either one of the above statements three times or, if you are feeling adventurous, using all three once each, go on to tap around the points repeating the negative at each point and then tap another round using the positive thus:</p>
<p>Negative Phrase:</p>
<p>“This Pain/Stiffness/Ache.”</p>
<p>Positive Phrase:</p>
<p>EB…. “I choose to know it’s there to heal me.”</p>
<p>SE&#8230;&#8230;”I choose to accept it as evidence of my healing.”</p>
<p>UE&#8230;&#8230;” I am grateful to the Universe for giving me this pain to bring about a breakthrough in my healing.”</p>
<p>UN&#8230;&#8230;” I choose to know it’s there to heal me.”</p>
<p>UL&#8230;&#8230;”I choose to accept it as evidence of my healing.”</p>
<p>CB&#8230;&#8230;” I am so grateful to the Universe for giving me this pain to bring about a breakthrough in my healing.”</p>
<p>UA&#8230;&#8230;.” I choose to accept it as evidence of my healing.”</p>
<p>TH&#8230;&#8230;.”I choose to know it’s there to heal me.”</p>
<p>Hint: As you say the statements it helps to emphasize the words in bold as this adds feeling to whatever you’re saying meaning the statement is accepted much easier by the subconscious mind.</p>
<p>After one whole round of positive and negative take an intensity rating on the pain and repeat. Carry on doing this for a few days and the pain will more than likely recede into the background.</p>

<p>This article will show you how to use EFT Tapping for Weight Loss.  Using an unconventional method of contacting the part of you that is responsible for all weight gain and weight loss.</p>
<p>According the science there is only one brain; the brain that resides in the head. The ancients saw things differently however, they recognised a second brain. This second brain resides in the body and is commonly known as the solar plexus. The solar plexus is in charge of all bodily functions and is also the seat of all emotions.</p>
<p>The solar plexus is made out of the same stuff as the cerebral brain; in the growing foetus it develops before the cerebral brain and is central to the development of the body. Hidden deep within the body it is protected by the ribs and if damaged can lead to instant death. It’s possible to live with brain damage but a sharp blow to the solar plexus can be fatal.</p>
<p>We all know that feelings are associated with the heart and modern thinking believes that the heart spoken of is the physical heart but in actual fact all feelings arise from the solar plexus which is in the ‘heart’ of the body. All feelings arise from this part of the body because it is the storage area for all feelings and all emotional memories are recorded there.</p>
<p>The cerebral mind may play a part in recording all events but the part of you that is involved in recording and registering emotions is the body brain, the solar plexus. Much more ancient and primitive than the cerebral brain it is the instinctive part of you. You could survive without much of a thinking brain but not without a body brain.</p>
<p>The name given to this organ describes its function. Solar means ‘sun’ and like the sun in the sky it radiates energy out to all of the organs in the body and each and every cell receives the rays it sends out. If you feel happy your internal ‘sun’ is radiating out sunshine and if you feel down or depressed its cloudy and raining inside. In other words, if you feel down your whole body is experiencing a low.</p>
<p>You were born with instincts, every living thing is, and then after birth each emotional experience has been recorded by this part of you. These emotional experiences formed your character. That’s why we’re all dissimilar; we’ve all had different emotional experiences. When you were hurt you made assumptions about your experience and may have unconsciously set up ways to prevent anything similar happening again.</p>
<p>All of your beliefs are held here and you are being run by your old hurts and wounds without even knowing anything about it. All of your life you have been setting up coping mechanisms that have been designed to prevent you from feeling pain both physical and emotional. Have you ever wondered why you do some of the things you do even when you know that what you are doing is detrimental to your health and happiness?</p>
<p>You do those things because somewhere back then you believed that what you are doing made you feel better. It probably did for a while, taking drugs, drinking, overeating or any behaviour that numbs psychological pain always works for a while. There’s a honeymoon period for all of these behaviours before the very actions that were set up to help become another problem to be coped with.</p>
<p>The trouble is that by the time you realise that your coping mechanism has become problematic it’s been installed into your solar plexus. Now, whenever you are triggered by certain feelings the coping mechanism kicks in and the urge to indulge in the behaviour kicks in. Now you have to get your fix, the cigarette, the glass of wine or the bar of chocolate becomes the main thing on your mind and the craving must be responded to. Does that sound familiar to you? If it does then you can be sure the behaviour is being driven by unconscious responses by the mechanism of the solar plexus.</p>
<p>These unconscious responses affect every area of your life not just eating, food consumption and weight gain. Your level of success is probably being affected, your relationships and your health and fitness levels too. No doubt you have experienced emotional responses in most every area of your life and you’ll have set up some kind of triggers and coping mechanisms for every area.</p>
<p>So what can be done about these unconscious responses if they are unhelpful? First of all you have to realise that the solar plexus, the emotional heart of the body is responsive. Most of the time it sleeps; not the kind of sleep you engage in at night but it rests in a kind of reverie or dreamy state a bit like hypnosis. It never closes down fully and all the while it outputs whatever has been programed into it. Highly attuned to feelings it reacts in its usual habitual way to stimulus.</p>
<p>The instinctual brain is on constant alert for danger. An unusual noise in the night can have you wide awake and listening acutely in a second. It is always listening and watching but if nothing unusual is happening it will quietly and dreamily carry on doing what it has always done. If you want to make the solar plexus sit up and take notice you can do it by creating emotion, the stronger the better, or by telling it to wake up in the same way you’d get a sleepy boy out of bed for school.</p>
<p>You can imagine, can’t you, the following scene. A sleepy teenage boy who likes to slumber on each morning and who if not woken will sleep till noon suddenly hears a fight going on between his mum and dad, that wakes him up, it’s unusual, its loud, it could be threatening and it’s probably upsetting. If that boy doesn’t leap out of bed he’ll at least be wide awake and listening, sleep, for the time being forgotten. The other way to get him awake would be to shake him, speak to him in a loud and commanding voice and insist he awaken and get out of bed.</p>
<p>The exact same tactics work with the solar plexus. It always wakes up and responds to anything unusual, just in case it’s dangerous, and anything emotional has it instantly alert. Apart from that you can wake it by using the methods outlined above. Once it’s awake you can set it to work and it will do your bidding. All you have to do is tell it what you want it to do.</p>
<p>The captain of a ship doesn’t usually know much at all about the workings of the engine room of his ship but the chief engineer either knows everything or has people under his command who know everything needed to be known. If there was a mechanical problem in the ship the captain wouldn’t try to solve it he’d speak to the chief engineer and get him to solve it. He wouldn’t fret over the problem either; he’d simply put all of his trust in his chief engineer and expect the job to get done.</p>
<p>Think of it this way. All humans come, like computers, with hardware already installed. The beliefs, ideas and habits we then accumulate are like software that is installed by us as we go through life. The chief engineer has been there throughout; present at each individual installation. This part of you knows all of the inner workings and can de-commission any mechanical bit that is no longer needed. It can literally do anything that is required of it if it’s only woken and instructed.</p>
<p>Nothing is beyond its capabilities and you only have to look around at the crazy things people are capable of to know that. When the solar plexus is excited by strong emotion it can override logic to the extent that a small and normally weak woman can lift a car if her child is trapped under it. However, if it is not asked, if its advice is not sought then it will carry on running the ship according to the software you’ve installed.</p>
<p>You can awaken the solar plexus by speaking to it directly. You may want to tap on the area of your stomach that lies directly above it and tell it silently or aloud to wake up. Tell it you’d like to talk to it and there are things you’d like it to do. You may want to begin by apologising for ignoring it all these years and for your lack of appreciation for the work it has been doing unceasingly. You may want to apologise for interfering with the perfect working instructions it was provided with.<br />
You can ask it to revert back to its original blueprint, to seek out and remove all negative programming that is preventing you from achieving a slim and healthy body. You can literally ask it to do anything and while everyone’s engine room will be programmed in different ways there are some things common to all of us. The following tapping script addresses some of those issues but it is suggested you start with the script but do not stop there.<br />
Instead, seek out and find those issues that are particular to you by allowing your chief engineer to search and seek and to adjust and build.<br />
The tapping script is below:</p>
<h3>EFT Tapping For Weight Loss</h3>
<p>The Tapping Points:</p>
<p>Begin by tapping the Karate Chop point on the hand and continue tapping while repeating the opening statement three times (see below).</p>
<p>Note: In Acupuncture the &#8220;Karate Chop&#8221; point is known as the sorting out point. It relates to the small intestine where the Ancient Chinese believed we held all of our unsorted problems.</p>
<p>The Karate Chop Point:</p>
<p>The Karate Chop point (abbreviated KC) is located at the centre of the fleshy part of the outside of your hand. It is the part you would use to deliver a karate chop.</p>
<p>All you do, while repeating your statement three times is tap on this point with your other hand. Tap vigorously but without hurting yourself.</p>
<p>Note: It doesn’t matter which hand you use to tap, either will do. It is also possible to tap this part of the hand on any hard surface such as the side of your desk while on the telephone or the steering wheel while driving your car.</p>
<p>Start Tapping:</p>
<p>• Even though I’ve never even thought of speaking to the chief engineer of my body brain and I’ve certainly never appreciated the work that part of me does. I can still love and accept myself and forgive myself for being thoughtless and unkind.<br />
• Even though I had no idea that my solar plexus had intelligence and I have simply either ignored it or complained about the work it’s been doing, I can apologise and still love and accept myself.<br />
• Even though my body brain has been dealing with all of my negative beliefs, ideas and habits for years without any appreciation or thanks, I forgive myself and apologise for my thoughtlessness.</p>
<p>Now tap around the acupressure points whilst repeating the following statements. Tap on each point as long as it takes to say the words:</p>
<p>The first tapping point is found at the inside of the eyebrow, just above and to one side of the nose on the inside edge of the eyebrow. This point is abbreviated EB for beginning of the Eyebrow.</p>
<p>Point two is on the bony part of the outside of the eye either side and this point is abbreviated SE for Side of the Eye.</p>
<p>Point three can be found on the bony part under either, or both eyes about 1 inch below your pupil. This point is abbreviated UE for Under the Eye.</p>
<p>Point four is in the small area between the bottom of your nose and the top of your upper lip. This point is abbreviated UN for Under the Nose.</p>
<p>Point five can be found midway between the point of your chin and the bottom of your lower lip. Just in the groove that most people have there. This point is abbreviated Ch for Chin.</p>
<p>After tapping on the chin point we go to the collarbone point. You will find point six about where your collar bones meet in the middle. This point is abbreviated CB for Collarbone.</p>
<p>When tapping on the Collarbone point it is advisable to use either all four fingers of your hand or even turn the hand into a fist and tap with closed fist. This way you reach a larger area and can tap on both sides together.</p>
<p>Point seven is under the arm, directly below your armpit and about level with a man’s nipple or a ladies bra. This point is abbreviated UA for Under the Arm.</p>
<p>Point eight is on the top of the head and once again it would be best if you used all four fingers to tap on this point. Tap around the middle parting, moving the fingers around if possible to tap as many points as possible. This point is abbreviated TH for Top of Head.</p>

<p>• Even though my solar plexus is sleeping I’m waking it up, apologising and enlisting its help. It knows the software programs I’ve installed intimately and it has the power to make any changes I ask of it so I choose to work with my chief engineer, I choose to know that my chief engineer is my equal and has all the knowledge needed to restore me to my inborn glory.</p>
<p>• Even though my chief engineer is busy running all the software programs I’ve installed and is not used to talking to me, I choose to awaken this department and put my trust in it to make the changes needed to enable me to become slim, healthy and happy. I know I have that power within me because it was installed in me at conception and I mean to return to that programming by enlisting the help of my body brain.<br />
• Even though I know nothing of the workings of my body brain my chief engineer is intimate with every bit of software I have downloaded, every belief or idea that is unhelpful and every negative cellular memory that is held within me and I choose to enlist its help to begin unravelling and uninstalling whatever is preventing me from being slim and healthy.</p>

<p>Decide what weight you want to be and decide realistically when you can achieve it. When you&#8217;ve decided what and when, write an affirmation. (By August I am thrilled and delighted to be my perfect weight of 10 stone and to have a fit, healthy and toned body) Write the affirmation on a dozen Post-it notes and stick them in strategic places.</p>
<p>To make this affirmation stick you will need to repeat it with feeling many times in the day, especially in the mornings on awakening and at night while dropping off to sleep.  As well as this it will pay to get a journal and write down an expanded version of your goal.</p>
<p>Make it present tense like the affirmation above. &#8220;By August I am thrilled and delighted to be my perfect weight of 10 stone and to have a fit, healthy and toned body. I have a great tan and I love the way I look in my bikini. I turn heads as I walk confidently down the street admiring my reflection in the shop windows. I feel glamorous and attractive and I look amazing in a pair of skinny jeans and a simple white shirt.&#8221; etc etc.</p>
<p>Write in your journal every night, not just about your weight but about everything you wish to achieve.  Expand on the story, decide what you&#8217;ll do as the slim person you are becoming and most importantly decide how you feel.  Feel those feelings in the now as you describe them.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve set the goal ask the right questions.  &#8220;How <strong><em>can</em></strong> I lose weight fast.&#8221; &#8220;What do I need to do to achieve this goal?&#8221; &#8220;How can I get there easily.&#8221; &#8220;What&#8217;s the best way to achieve my goal.&#8221; Your mind has all the answers, you know what to do already and when you ask solution based questions the answers will come to you.</p>
<p>The best advice I can give you is this. The food we eat makes us either healthy or unhealthy, it doesn&#8217;t make us fat. What makes us put weight on is the amount of food we eat. An unhealthy food eater can be skinny; many are, and a healthy eater can be as fat as butter, meaning they too are unhealthy.</p>
<p>Overeating at just one meal in the day means you will increase in weight and size that day, that&#8217;s why all the people who starve themselves all day and overeat in the evening are fat.  If you&#8217;ve spent years counting calories it&#8217;s time to stop now.  Instead, make your hand into a fist and look at the size of it.  Really study the size of your fist because it indicates how much food you should actually eat.</p>
<h3>How Can I Lose Weight Fast</h3>
<p>Nature is very clever and has given us all an easy measure to let us know how much food each of us requires to be healthy. Your fist is the size you need. No more and no less.  Check your fist size against those of your friends and family and see the difference.  My fist is very small and some of my female friends have much bigger fists, meaning they can eat more than me.  It may not be fair but it&#8217;s a fact.  I may be cleverer or prettier than them, it&#8217;s just one of those things.</p>
<p>Find a small bowl that is around the size of your fist.  Mine is a small Chinese rice bowl.  I use it to measure my food, naot all the time but most of the time.  The times I don&#8217;t is when I know that the food I am about to eat is well within the limits.  Eat only your fist size portion of food at every meal and no more and the weight will simply fall off.</p>
<p>Think you&#8217;ll be hungry? If you are it&#8217;s all in the mind and is happening because  you are affirming it. Unless you tell yourself you will be hungry, you won&#8217;t! It is overeating that creates hunger. The more you eat the more food you crave. Immediately you eat the correct amount of food for you the cravings go.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a magic to eating your fist size of food, it&#8217;s as if a fairy godmother made all your wishes come true.  Do it and see.</p>

It is obvious that those who think they may be unable to be hypnotised imagine hypnosis to be a state that is abnormal and unusual and this belief can prevent them from relaxing and allowing hypnosis to happen. Apart from this there are other factors that could lead someone to both think and believe that they were unable to be hypnotised.</p>
<p>In a therapeutic situation, if the client or subject is nervous and fearful they can unconsciously block the process and resist the relaxation techniques. If a client doesn’t like their hypnotist, their appearance, their voice or their gender this could prevent relaxation from happening. If a client comes along for hypnosis worrying that the ‘therapy may not work’ or harbouring a negatively focused hope that the therapy ‘won’t turn out to be a waste of money’ they will unconsciously resist hypnosis. Their main focus, being upon it ‘not working’ or being a ‘waste of money’ will render them unable to relax and follow instructions.</p>
<p>The same also applies for self-hypnosis. Think you may be wasting time and you are and think you haven’t got the time and you haven’t. If you don’t think you can do it properly you can’t. You have to be just just as positive with self-hypnosis as you would be with any other hypnosis.</p>
<h3>Can Anyone Be Hypnotised</h3>
<p>All the while you are conscious you are thinking and while thinking slows down in a hypnotic state it does not stop altogether. Therefore your subconscious is receiving suggestions from you all the time. It will do whatever you tell it to. If you say, “Relax,” in a relaxed voice your body will relax whereas if you say, “This is hard,” or “It’s not happening,” you’ll get the results of that too. <p>Now whatever it is you&#8217;ve thought of, imagine it on a plate in front of you. Imagine how disgusting it is.  Then imagine smelling and eating the disgusting stuff in front of you.  If you picked something disgusting enough you&#8217;ll either feel like retching or you will actually retch.  As you imagine tasting it squeeze your thumb and little finger of either hand together.</p>
<p>As you press really imagine the smell and the taste of that repulsive ‘food’ in your mouth, imagine the texture of it and squeeze those fingers together until you feel absolutely revolted.</p>
<p>Ok, when you feel sick stop and relax your fingers.</p>
<p>Now, think of the food you like and can’t stop eating, think of it and imagine it in front of you now.  Make the mental image of the food you love bigger and bigger, make it gigantic until it’s bigger than you, continue making it bigger and bigger and draw it closer and closer until it envelopes you and you are in it and passing through it.  Carry on until the image has passed all the way through and is now behind you.</p>
<h3>Craving Buster</h3>
<p>When you&#8217;ve done that, squeeze your thumb and finger together again and imagine the food that disgusted you.  Now imagine mixing in the food you love with the disgusting food and eating them together.  Imagine the taste and texture and the smell.  Keep eating and squeezing until you feel quite sick and then stop. Relax your fingers.</p>
<p>Think about your favorite food now and notice how different it feels.</p>
<p>You can repeat this craving buster as often as you like until all craving for that particular food has dissipated and you are no longer a slave to your cravings.</p>
