The ‘Law of Forgiveness’ states:

We cannot be forgiven until we forgive others. As long as we harbour negative thoughts of anger, judgement, hatred and intolerance against others we cannot be happy simply because while we harbour those feelings we feel the results of them. To be happy and free we have to give up all unforgiving thoughts.

Jesus taught this Law above all others and put it prominently in ‘The Lord’s Prayer,’ not once but twice. ‘Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us’ and ‘Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’ He knew that all of our problems came from our judgements of others and their behaviour.

The subconscious mind listens to all of our thoughts and it cannot separate the thoughts we think about others from the thoughts we thing about us. Thought are thoughts for the subconscious and all are responded to equally.

It would be nice, perhaps, if we could somehow tell deeper mind that for the next fifteen minutes we were going to be cursing and hating someone else, someone completely separate from us and that while we were doing it to take absolutely no notice of anything we say during that time. Then we could set a timer and spend those fifteen minutes as we liked, reverting back to positive talk when the alarm went off.

That’s not how mind works unfortunately, mind is always responding to feelings and anger is anger and hatred is hatred and while you are producing it you are feeling it. Feelings create chemical reactions and then negative hormones flood through your body and every cell of your body is being bathed in hormones that will make you sick and get old.

Forgiveness is not about the other person forgiveness is for you, to heal you. You may feel justified in holding on to unforgiveness against others or feel you have every right to hold on to anger but you must ask, “Who am I hurting when I hold on to this anger and unforgiveness?” You know the answer is you. That person or those people may have hurt you in the past but holding on to the unforgiveness means that you carry on hurting you, every time you re-live the event and feel the feelings. Forgive and you will be forgiven!

The word forgive is a two syllable word ‘for’ and ‘give’ and when you forgive it simply means that you ‘give’ up being angry and intolerant and you replace it ‘for’ something new, perhaps peace and harmony. You ‘give’ up judgement and hatred and you replace it ‘for’ something else, perhaps acceptance and love. Then you are free, do you see? It’s not that the ‘Law of Forgiveness’ is vindictive or spiteful or wants to hold something against you it’s just that all the while you hold on to unforgiveness you cannot be forgiven. (The Universe/God is not trying to punish you; you are doing it to you)

If you are finding it difficult to forgive or you feel fully justified or entitled to be aggrieved ask yourself, “Would I rather be right or happy?” If you’d rather be right carry on doing what you’re doing and hold on to the unforgiving thoughts but if you’d rather be happy you’ll have to let them go. Forgiving clears Karmic debt. When you truly forgive others you’ll feel free.

You too can be forgiven when you feel true and genuine remorse for the transgressions you made. When you know in your heart that you have changed and you can truly say that the new you would always be faithful, honest and kind you are forgiven. Then, as long as you do what Jesus told those he healed to do, “Go and sin no more,” the lesson is learned and the Karmic debt is wiped out.

To your amazing success,

We can only reap love if we sow it and get respect if we give it.

The Law of Cause and Effect states:

Every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause. Sometimes known as the ‘Law of Karma’ it means that every thought and consequently every action has a consequence. The Indians know the Law as Karma and believe we may come into this life with difficulties to atone for a past life’s mistakes.

The ‘Law of Cause and Effect’ states that every action or thought has an effect, a benefit or a consequence and therefore, ‘We continually reap what we sow.’ If we cheat we will be cheated upon, if we steal we will be stolen from and if we criticise we will be criticised. And it doesn’t matter whether the cheating, the stealing or the criticism is covert or overt the consequences are the same.

Jesus made this plain when he said the man who lusted after his neighbour’s wife was guilty of adultery. But how can this be? Surely if the thief gets away with his act, the cheat is never caught and the critical person doesn’t voice their opinion out loud but keeps it private there can be no repercussions! Unfortunately, or fortunately, for the worlds sake there is always at least one witness to every transgression made, every sin committed and the witness is the perpetrator of the act.

The ‘Law of Cause and Effect’ is not waiting for you to make a mistake so it can zap you and get you back, Karma comes from you. You punish you and no matter how long it takes for Karma to reap what it has sown it will always come back in the end. Guilt will out, somehow, somewhere, simply because it sits in the subconscious awaiting retribution. If you’ve ever felt guilty about something, and who hasn’t, you’ll know the feeling that creeps over you from time to time when the subject turns to something similar.

The good you do also reaps its rewards and every good deed or word brings back a favour, some help or some support from someone. The good doesn’t necessarily come back from the source it went out to and it can come back from a completely different source but come it will. In the same way you don’t have to broadcast your digressions there’s no need to let everyone know about the good things you do, the one witness is enough, you.

Thoughts, actions and deeds do not happen in isolation. Each one sets in motion a chain of events that go out from source like a ripple on a pond and eventually the ripples return to the originator or back to source. Hence the saying, ‘What goes around comes around.’

When you are fully conversant with the Law of Cause and Effect it becomes easier to jettison old negative behaviours and replace them with good intentions so you can reap a good harvest. Therein lays the wisdom of the saying, ‘Love thy neighbour as thyself.’ We can only reap love if we sow it and get respect if we give it. Be forever mindful of this and when you are tempted to accuse others of something, turn the accusation around and ask what you could have sown that is reaping this behaviour.

If the world understood intention in the same way it understands gravity and used it as wisely we could prevent many of the wars, famines and strife that we have to endure. Understand this Law and use it wisely.

The Law of Intention states:

Whatever you intend to happen will happen. Intention is a power very like the ‘Law of Gravity.’ While the ‘Law of Gravity’ is recognised and understood by everyone the ‘Law of Intention’ is a lesser known yet just as powerful force. While the ‘Law of Gravity’ holds you down to the ground and the planets on their courses the ‘Law of Intention’ in effect goes before you always. This Law moves and shapes the airwaves and atmospheres so that whatever you intend to happen will happen.

Expectation is the opposite side of the coin to intention. Imagine if you will that an intention goes out from you as a force and returns to you as an expectation. If you intend something you automatically expect it and if you expect something you have, unwittingly perhaps, intended it.

In actual fact whether you know it or not, you are putting intention into every single thing you do. In every moment of every day, intention is at work for you. In much the same way as the ‘Law of Gravity’ it is in operation continually. Without being aware of it you put some form of intention into every task you perform. Intention goes before you like an invisible force, either opening doors or keeping them shut depending entirely on your intention.

Every moment of the day you are moving with the ‘Law of Intention’ and while you sometimes use deliberate intention, by making a choice to do something, over 90% of your daily intentions are habitual. In other words you just carry on doing whatever you’ve always done on auto pilot.

When you understand the ‘Law of Intention’ life can take on a whole new meaning and you can deliberately intend for your day to go the way you want it to.

Intention = Expectation

Intention and expectation are interchangeable. If you are dreading something or not looking forward to it your expectation is it will be difficult and it will be so. Conversely, if you are looking forward to something, feeling confident and sending out positive energy your expectation is whatever you are doing will be successful or enjoyable and once again it is so. Whatever you expect is your intention and your intention is whatever you expect!

You can change the whole outcome of anything you normally dread or don’t look forward to by changing the intention before you do it. Set a different intention and you will get a different outcome. The phone call you were dreading can become easy and productive, the social occasion you weren’t looking forward to can become enjoyable and the interview can be successful if you set an intention for it beforehand.

If you are always late, intend to arrive on time, if you always eat too much intend to be satisfied with a small amount and if you haven’t been sleeping very well intend to sleep like a log. It’s all in the intention and the majority of your intentions are habitual but the ‘Law of Intention’ like all Universal Laws is impersonal. The ‘Law of Intention’ just is, like gravity it has no favourites.

If the world understood intention in the same way it understands gravity and used it as wisely we could prevent many of the wars, famines and strife that we have to endure. Understand this Law and use it wisely.

This turns, “I think I’m coming down with something,” to “When I wake up in the morning, I’ll feel as healthy as an ox.”

The Law of Substitution states:

Whereas on the earthly plane it is possible to let go of something without replacing it with something else, in the mental or Spiritual realms, the realm of thought, a thought you want to let go of has to be replaced immediately by another thought. In other words, it is impossible to eliminate a thought from your mind unless you fill the space with something else.

On the physical plane you can drop a pen from your hand and have a pen free hand but on the mental place that is impossible. The reason for this is that you are forever thinking and you cannot not think about something. If you are thinking about something unpleasant such as having to walk home in the thunderstorm that has just erupted without an umbrella or top coat you cannot not think about it.

If you think about it or if you decide not to think about it it’s the same. You may say, “I’m not even going to think about it,” but it’s too late because you have. You may say, “I don’t want to think about it,” but you already have, you could also, “Try not to think about it,” but the result is the same. There’s only one way to overcome this problem and it is to use the Law of Substitution. You can’t not think about ‘Pink Elephants’ but you can think about green ones. You can’t not think about being in your kitchen at home but you can think about being in your bedroom.

Instead of thinking about the thunderstorm you can substitute the thoughts of a nice warm bath once at home and a steaming cup of tea. That won’t make the thunderstorm go away but it will make you feel better. Whatever you focus upon you get and if you focus on the positive instead of trying to push away the negative, which is an impossibility, life will change.

Thoughts create movies in the mind; if you don’t believe me try thinking some. We humans see in two distinct ways; we see through our physical eyes at ‘what’s out there’ and we see in our mind’s eye. The mind’s eye pictures are not a sometimes occurrence they are an all-day occurrence and I believe it’s very rare for the inner and outer pictures to match.

The pictures you create in your mind’s eye are a result to your thoughts, your words and even the things you hear from all around. When you enter a conversation, read a book or watch the TV the words are interpreted by you and turned into mind pictures. That’s why when you talk about what you don’t want you get more of it. If you don’t want to feel embarrassed or stupid you just pictured it so the ‘Law of Attraction’ will give you it.

When you talk instead of what you want, to feel confident and relaxed and knowledgeable, hey presto your subconscious mind via the action of Law will give you that instead. To use the ‘Law of Substitution’ just decide what you want to have happen and every time your mind turns to fear, failure, anger or illness substitute the thought for what you want to have happen instead. Remember it’s no good trying to fight the thoughts; you’ll only make them worse.

In the Bible, Jesus told his followers that the only way to Pray was to say, ‘Nay, Nay and Yea, Yea.’ Interpreted this is the ‘Law of Substitution’ in action. When you hear a negative thought deny it. Say, “This is not true,” (Nay) and replace it with what you choose. (Yea). This turns, “I think I’m coming down with something,” to “When I wake up in the morning, I’ll feel as healthy as an ox.”

Learning about this Law, how it works and how to work with it is the key to happiness. It is literally possible to restructure your whole life.

The Law of Attraction states:

Thoughts are things and whatever you think about you attract into your life. This is an energy Universe and we are energy beings. Your thoughts are energy and whatever you focus on and give energy to will increase. It doesn’t matter whether you really want illness, lack, bankruptcy, unhappiness or loneliness if you think about it you’ll get it.

This Law is as exact as the ‘Law of Gravity.’ The ‘Law of Gravity’ is not being unkind or vindictive when it kills the person who walks off the top of the mountain; it is just being the ‘Law of Gravity.’ How strange it would be to hear the news announcer declare, “Today the ‘Law of Gravity’ killed someone in the Lake District.” We don’t blame the ‘Law of Gravity,’ instead we respect it.

The ‘Law of Attraction’ is the same. Respect it and work with it and life will be good but work against it and you’ll have problems. So, because it can only give you what you focus on, if you think about being broke, poor, sick, unlucky or worn out that is exactly what you’ll be. This Law applies to your life and every other person’s life on the planet. Like all Universal Laws, it is impartial and impersonal, which means it does what it does regardless of whether you are talking about what you want or what you don’t want.

Everything comes to us through the most fundamental law of physics – Like Attracts Like! Like Attracts Like is the ‘Law of Attraction.’ It is absolute and unerring and it has nothing to do with your personality, your upbringing, your religious beliefs or your inherent goodness or badness in this life or any life. No one lives beyond this Law.

If Mother Teresa had gotten too close to the edge of a mountain the ‘Law of Gravity’ would not change for her even though she was goodness personified. All Universal Laws are unquestionable and unchanging. The rain falls on the good and on the wicked alike.

All Universal Laws are Principles and Principles are eternal Truths. A Principle is the same from the beginning of time until the end of time. Mathematics’ is a Principle and two and two have always made four, right from the beginning and even when there was no-one to count and no-one who could count. Two dinosaurs plus two more dinosaurs made four even way back then.

Love is a Principle, it has always existed, it is not man made, it is eternal and should man disappear from existence right now Love would remain. The following things are also Principles; Joy, Happiness, Abundance, Harmony, Peace, Radiance, Light, Glory, Magnificence, Growth, Life and Exuberance to name a few.

Negatives or problems are man-made and will die along with man. No matter what your problems are or how bad they seem they will die when you do. Someone else may have similar problems but your particular problems will expire when you do and that’s because they depend on you to keep them active and alive. When you withdraw your energy from them they cannot exist anymore yet Principles go on forever.

Learning about this Law, how it works and how to work with it is the key to happiness. It is literally possible to restructure your whole life.
Once you apply the Law of Attraction everything is possible.

If you've ever wondered, What is EFT? This post may answer you're question.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

The main discovery of EFT is that all negative emotions are caused by a disruption to the body’s energy system.

An original event (such as a trauma or shock) produced a physical disruption to the energy system. The event becomes associated with the negative feeling that accompanied it (e.g shame or guilt).

This programs the system as the disruption gets burnt into the physiology. Then whenever anything happens that reminds the body and mind of the trauma (a thought, a look, a smell or a person), the old program runs re-creating the energy disruption and the negative feeling at the same time.

When you deliberately ‘run’ the program by stating the problem and you tap at the same time the tapping acts to interrupt and corrupt the program.

What is EFT

Once the tapping has interfered with the running of the old program it can not longer run in the same way. It cannot run once the association has been corrupted and replaced with another way of feeling and acting when faced with the same or similar trigger.

To interrupt the program it has to be running and that’s why you have to tune into the problem. Once it’s running and the tapping begins the system begins to straighten out. The closer you can get to the way you felt during the initial event the better (without unduly upsetting yourself in the process, which isn’t necessary).

EFT – The Promise of Emotional Freedom

Unlike many other scientific discoveries EFT was not created in a laboratory and then tested in the real world. Instead a stunning turn of events in the real world pointed the way first. Here’s the story.

Back in the 1970’s Dr Roger Callahan, an eminent American psychotherapist, was becoming increasing frustrated at the length of time he had to spend with each of his clients using conventional therapy.

He started to research other methods of healing and became very interested in energy therapy. He stated to make a detailed study of Acupuncture and Applied Kinesiology, attending many lectures on the subjects.

Dr Callahan trained in both of these subjects and in 1980 he was working with a patient, Mary, for an intense water phobia. She suffered from frequent headaches and terrifying nightmares, both of which were related to her fear of water. To try to get help she had been going from therapist to therapist for years….with no material improvement.

What is Tapping?

Dr. Callahan tried to help her by conventional means for a year and a half. He didn’t make much headway either. Then one day he stepped outside the normal ‘boundaries’ of psychotherapy. Out of curiosity and to put his new skills in practice he decided to tap with his fingertips under her eyes (an end point of the stomach meridian).

This was prompted by her complaint of some stomach discomfort whenever she thought of being in or near water. To his astonishment she announced immediately that her phobia was gone and she raced to the nearest source of water and began splashing her face. No fear. No headaches. It all went away; including the nightmares. And it has never returned. Results like that are rare in the field of psychotherapy…but commonplace with EFT.

EFT has the ability to free you from emotional, physical and mental problems that have plagued you for years.

No matter how hard you try do you feel that something stops you?

Can You See What The Future Holds For You?

Have you ever felt as if you keep on making the same mistakes? Do you feel as if you have some kind of a block that is stopping you from achieving your full potential? No matter how hard you try to be successful in life, relationships or business do you feel that something always seems to get in your way? It’s possible that you may have been repeating the same mistakes for more than one lifetime.

Past Life Regression can help you overcome seemingly irrational fears and phobias and blockages caused by traumatic experiences from a past life or lives. Finding out the cause can often help to let go of the problem, release unconscious fears and help you move on.

While Past Life Regression has been gaining in popularity for many years Future Life Progression is less well known? The possibility of taking people forward in time came about when clients undergoing regression began spontaneously moving forward in time into the future. After much experimentation it was found to be just as easy to take people forward as it is to take them back in time.

Think back to what you were doing ten years ago. What were you struggling with then and how different would your life have been if you had been visited by your future self who could have warned you not to make mistakes, to waste time and money on certain projects or to trust certain people? With hindsight, how would your life be now?

Taking a trip into your future could help you to succeed by giving you insight in to what and who to avoid and what and who to focus on. Future Life Progression (FLP) can give you belief in your talents and dreams.

What is Future Life Progression

The experience of a Future Life Progression (FLP) session will be similar to being engrossed in a good movie or daydreaming. Future Life Progression can be used to find out what will happen if you take a certain course of action and this can be anything from your relationships, a career move or property speculation. Case studies have shown life changing experiences.

If the future you see is not to your liking you have the power to change it. You will benefit from having prior warning. It has been found that by looking at your life in say five years’ time and energetically connecting with it the results came come into your life so much sooner than the five year period. If you see the problems or solutions in the future you can go for them now.

Future Life Progression (FLP) can help business and business people to steer clear of costly mistakes and time wasting ventures. It can help businesses to see future trends and decide whether they are worthwhile buying into. Decision making on future ventures is easier with knowledge at your disposal.

Apart from the constant momentary and daily dips into hypnosis you also experience two significant periods of hypnosis every day and these are the sleepy period just before sleep and the dreamy state you are in every morning on awakening. The night time period is called the hypnogogic state and the morning period the hypnopompic state.

Both of these dreamy periods are hypnotic trance states. At these times your body is relaxed, you feel sleepy and dreamy and your eyes are closed, although you can open them at any time and your brain waves are at the Alpha level. While in this restful state you are aware of sounds, the clock ticking, people stirring, the rain against the window or even the boiler kicking in but you are choosing to stay relaxed and dreamy.

While in this ‘eyes closed’ relaxed state you are drifting and dreaming, thinking and imagining, (seeing internally). In this comfortable hypnotic state your conscious mind is more relaxed. It could be described quite accurately as being ‘off guard’ and while in this relaxed and ‘off guard’ state suggestions drop down easily into the subconscious mind.

The deliberately induced hypnotic state is the same. With eyes voluntarily closed and a willingness to relax you drop into a hypnotic state akin to the morning or evening state and in similar fashion you will still be able to hear any sounds in the room. You can allow yourself to become peaceful and calm and focus on the voice of your hypnotist or the voice on your hypnosis track.

During hypnosis you are directed into this relaxed and hypnotic trance for a special purpose, that of making deep and lasting changes. While in this ‘off guard’ state the suggestions made by the hypnotist will be accepted without question by the subconscious part of your mind. The subconscious is where all changes are made. That, in a nutshell, is hypnosis.

Even though you are in a restful hypnotic state you are still in charge, you can reject any suggestion the hypnotist gives although, unless the suggestion is harmful or detrimental it would be pointless to do so. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis and no matter how skilled your hypnotist is you cannot be hypnotised or made to believe anything against your will.

To ensure success the client and hypnotist must work as a team which means that for the purposes of the therapy it is best to suspend your judgement and become as agreeable as you possibly can.

Note: A professionally trained and ethical hypnotherapist would know exactly how to phrase things and only make positive suggestions that would benefit their client. It would still be advisavble to to use your personal judgement and disagree with anything any hypnotist said that you deemed to be negative or detrimental.

Are You Curious To Know – What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that every human dips into many times every day without even realising it. Scientists say that on average we dip into a hypnotic state around 7 times every hour.

A hypnotic state is a state where the conscious mind has wandered away from outer reality and is focused internally. You may know the hypnotic state as daydreaming, lost in thought, away with the fairies, or just plain old not paying attention.

In these states of reverie when you are contemplating, musing or turning something over in mind, brain waves slowdown from the normal waking state of Beta brainwave levels to a lower state called Alpha. An Alpha state is a hypnotic state; a period when time seems to stand still as you drift away somewhere within and your mind wanders off away from the reality that surrounds you.

In normal waking consciousness; the Beta state, you are focussed on facts, on reality and the here and now but in the Alpha, hypnotic state, you are free to wander where you will and dream what you will. In this relaxed state of mind your mind will often wander here and there but in hypnosis you are guided and led by your hypnotist to imagine a future differnet from your present reality.

The hypnotic state can be experienced with eyes closed and with eyes open but when eyes are open in a hypnotic state they are automatically defocused and this characterises the state. If you see someone staring into space they are in a trance like hypnotic state.

What is Hypnosis Like?

If you are a car driver you’ll instantly recognise the state of ‘highway hypnosis’ which is a state all drivers experience. When under the spell of ‘highway hypnosis’ you are staring at the road ahead with eyes out of focus and daydreaming. It’s quite possible to drive for miles like this and to arrive at a destination without any memory of the journey at all.
